POWER SHOW!

Today i am going to share meanings of some of the tattoos....just keep reading! may be it will give you an idea what kind of a tattoo you want and what will it depict.

EAGLE TATTOO: is a typically male design that crosses over a significant number of tattoo genres, and the influence of the eagle in American tattooing cannot be underestimated. For freedom lovers everywhere, the Eagle's ability to fly to the tops of mountains and swoop silently into valleys makes it the unchallenged symbol of a free spirit. The influence of the Eagle in American tattooing cannot be over-estimated, especially within the military and patriotic service tattoos genres

BUTTERFLY TATTOO: A generally feminine tattoo design choice and a perennial favorite. It's ranking shows the growing influence that women have in tattoo culture. Even so, the Butterfly is not entirely the exclusive domain of the feminine. The Roman Emperor, Augustus, took it as his personal symbol, and the warrior priests of the Mexican Popolucas peoples sported the Butterfly as a motif on their breastplates. Their Butterfly was also the symbol of fire. Delightful, magical and transformational, the Butterfly reminds its admirers of the mystery of nature and the richness of human imagination.
While butterfly tattoos for girls can be cute, their symbolism is entirely different. Butterfly tattoos with meaning is quite ambiguous because some consider it as a representation of childbirth will others associate it with fragility impermanence of human life.

THE PHOENIX TATTOO: is another tattoo design that illustrates the enduring popularity of Asian tattooing traditions. But the phoenix is also a design with a rich mythological history in both Eastern and western cultures. Tales of the phoenix appear in ancient Arabian, Greek, Roman, and Far Eastern mythology. In both Greek and Egyptian tales, the phoenix represented the sun, dying in flames at the end of the day and rising each morning.The fire represents death and turbulence, and the rising phoenix bird symbolizes victory over death or the troubles of life! The rising phoenix tattoo design also represents rebirth/resurrection/new beginning. Which means no matter how difficult the past might have been for you, no matter how many difficult situations you would have gone through, no matter how much people or situations have tried to break you, you still emerge as a winner defeating all the challenges of life! Because of this, many believers in Christ's resurrection also go for a rising phoenix bird tattoo design reminding themselves of the Christ's 'winning over death' and living a 'new life after death'!

CROSS TATTOO: As a tattoo design or symbol, there is perhaps no religious icon or symbol more universally recognized today than the Christian Cross. Religious symbolism is prominently featured in several tattoo design genres, both ancient and modern, and in fact it could be argued that all traditional tattooing among indigenous peoples has a strong spiritual element.

DRAGON TATTOO: Dragons are one of the most popular mythological creatures.The descend from various legends, telling tales of fire-breathing, winded creatures.There are two different dragons that you'll commonly see the Easter and the Western dragons. The Eastern dragons of the orient are seen as benevolent creatures who are the protectors of life, fertility, and good fortune. The Western dragons tend to be the evil creatures that destroy villages and guard hoards of treasure.

Chinese dragons are the symbols of power and mystery as depicted in Eastern and Western legends.
The dragon evoked fear and worship in man.
Dragons are a popular tattoo among both men and woman,
 each person finding a different reason ans symbolism behind the dragon.
In general men tend to use dragon tattoos to represent:
*  Courage
*  Strength
*  Raw power and force
*  Wisdom and reason
*  Protectors of sacred items
In General, women tend to use dragon tattoos to represent:
*  Creator
*  Protector of life
*  Strength

 HEART TATTOO: have been popular for well over a century. Heart tattoos were very popular with Servicemen in WWII; tokens of their loved ones that accompanied them and were a constant reminder of what they were fighting for.
Most heart tattoos tend to represent love, passion, happiness, and adoration, but there are other meanings for a heart tattoo. Some of the more common can include the following:
Bleeding heart : lost love
Broken heart: loss of a loved one, rejected love, or a failed relationship
Pierced heart: whether pierced with swords, arrows, or other objects; tend to represent unforgetable and saddened memories of love
Hearts with dagger: bravery (usually the tattoo of soldiers); betrayal.
Hearts with wings: freedom, spirit, free spirit.
Heart tattoos for girls are not only cute, but they are attractive at the same time. The sacred heart, or the heart wing tattoo, symbolizes love, belief and compassion for mankind, and devotion and faith in God. Negative emotions are reflected by broken heart or bleeding heart.

ANGEL TATTOO: Angel Tattoos Can Mean More Than Religion ---- Angel tattoos are very spiritual and symbolic. They are important in many religions, such as the Christian, Jewish and Islamic faiths. They are believed to be messengers of god, and protective, such as guardian angels. It is believed that the word Angel comes from the Greek language meaning "messenger".
Angel tattoos are popular with both women and men. On women, angel tattoos are seen to represent serenity and calmness within, while on men an angel tattoo represents an connection with the higher self.
Angel tattoo designs have become increasingly popular; an angel is a symbol of devotion, spirituality and faith and signifies a relationship with God. An angel can be intended as a figure of guidance and protection. An angel is often used as the centerpiece of a tattoo that is intended as a memorial.
